Summer Colour

Hey guys, hope all is well with everyone! This post is about my new favourite colour - turquoise. Now more recently, I have been trying out neutral colours matched with a key bright colour . So what better than simple neutral clothing with a brightly coloured item of jewellery. Most of these pieces are small and I wouldn't necessarily wear them together but I like the idea of adding something interesting to a something simple. 

The first necklace is a gorgeous piece that I picked up on my most recent holiday in Madeira, I bought the stone in a little shop for 20 Euros, but I just loved the colour so much so I had to buy it. My reasoning for the purchase was because Amethyst, chalcedony, aquamarine and turquoise are all gemstone colours associated with my zodiac sign, Aquarian. So as well as this colour being a fashionable trend colour, they are also my gemstone colour. 

Next to the necklace is a small pair of Accessorize earrings.

This is a bracelet that my lovely boyfriend bought for me as a present last year and I only realised the other day that the little stones in it are the same as the rest of this collection. More often that not I only ever wear simple items of jewellery and he knew this so I am very grateful that he bought me a little item of silver jewellery with a gorgeous colour added to it.

The above two items are so different in terms of fashion sense. The cheap Primark ring was only bought recently and although it is a big ring, if it was matched so delicately with a white summer Topshop dress and a gold thin necklace and it went perfectly. The big, bold necklace was another purchase in Madeira for an amazing 1.50 Euro, I haven't worn it yet...what do you think I should put it with? Below is my mothers belt that she decided she wanted me to add because she noticed it was the same colour and I think she wanted a little feature!
