This weekend, my mum and I went to BBC Radio 2 Carfest at Laverstoke Park, Hampshire for Children in Need. The radio presenter, Chris Evans, created this family festival through a chat on his show which had a great response from his listeners; and I am so glad that he followed through on these crazy and spontaneous ideas! We viewed beautiful crafts from independent sellers, tasted a fantastic variety of food such as indian wraps, spicy paella and sweet organic popcorn; and finally watched the amazing Scouting for Girls, Amy Macdonald and Jools Holland. It was a fantastic family day out for all ages and we will definitely continue to go every year as it just gets better and better.
