Rimmel Lover

Now this picture above shows my newest beauty essential. As you all may know, I would normally be categorised as a 'Fashion Blogger', but yesterday I bought the new Rimmel Stay Matte Dual Action Concealer and it really is the best part of my makeup bag :)
It has two sections in one, a concealer available in 4 shades and then in the centre there is a blemmish controller in green. I have REAL problems with covering my horrible bags under my eyes and trust me, this is the best concealer I have ever owned!! And seriously recommend it to other people if they have the same problem! The benefit of it is that because it has a Matte finish, it means that it stays on for much longer than normal powder based concealers. Get it, for sure.

Whilst researching the new Rimmel life saver..I thought that I would fill in the Sophie Ellis Bexter Questionaire...copy it for your blog, tell me when you do also as I would love to know your answers :)

What make-up bag must haves are in your bag?
Well obviously the above!!! :)

What’s your top beauty tip?
Eyeliner is a definite saver if you dont want to wear much mascara. Since having the fringe, I have been far too lazy to wear loads of mascara to make my eyes 'pop', so thick eyeliner is the alternative. Pretty Basic.

What’s your favourite album of all time?
Coldplay Viva La Vida

What’s your favourite item of clothing? Well to be honest, I dont have one favourite item of clothing but I LIVE in my black leggins. Every item I can! I just love them :)

What are your predictions for next season's look?
Only a few people can pull off neutrals and pastels look. Think about it, before it was 'on trend' how many people would have opted for the pale look if it wasnt in magazines! I mean I love it, but thats just because I am pale and maybe I will be able to pull it off?

What is your favourite era in fashion? (i.e. 60’s, 70’s, 80’s)
50's and 60's...the era of the ever fabulous Audrey Hepburn

What are your favourite fashion brands at the moment?
Of course, Topshop. But the new Newlook has just opened up and some of the clothes are nice!
Who are your favourite actor/actresses at the moment and/or of all time?
Rachel McAdams, she is so versitile and a complete inspiration. In the celeb world, she has never had any scandalous stories about her or basically any bad press. She is loved by all and I would love to see her in a classic play version of a book but live such as a Jane Austin or something.

What’s your favourite film/TV programme for fashion/style?
The hills. Its more the awe the gorgeous people, lifestyle and clothes. Very teen typical though!

What wouldn’t you leave home without?
My mobile. It basically lives in my hands
When you want to create a look, what do you start with – make-up, clothes or hair?
I always start with the clothes for a night out because I wouldnt want to get hairspray or makeup on it whilst trying on. But for day to day I always start with hair drying, makeup then clothes because I normally put anything on.

What advice would you give a tourist in London?
Visit the galleries before the materialistic stuff. It makes you feel way better about yourself.

Which is your favourite street for shopping in London?
As Im a Cambridge girl, I dont really have a favourite street for london. I wish I could shop on the expensive streets with all the designers but at the same time I kinda wish I didnt. I dont want to follow on with whats expected.

What do you miss when you’re not at home? .
My mum, I always miss her. We are like two peas in a pod.

Where is your favourite place in the world?
At the moment and for the past 6 years, Grantchester. I always walk with my ipod on my own to clear my head. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesnt. But it always feels like the right thing to do.

Who are your heroines that inspires you?
I honestly dont have one in fashion. People who inspire me are the ones that can survive through the worst. Why cant everyone just look forward to better things without just seeing the bad.

Best joke Today
'I quit my job at the helium shop, I refused to be spoken to in that tone.' :)
