Umberto Giannini Vintage Hair Styling Kit

Umberto Giannini Vintage Hair Styling Kit

This is going to be a very picture heavy blog post as I wanted to show you every step that is involved with making the Umberto Giannini Vintage Hair Style as seen on gorgeous women such as Lana Del Ray and Jessica Alba. This kit is used to recreate a glamorous vintage inspired hairstyle that oozes radiance, with velcro rollers and a pintail comb to achieve sleek glamourour waves, pins and grips to secure everything in place and roly polys for added volume. Plus a black flower headband essential to complete the look.

The kit box and explanation of how to make the look yourself.

The black flower headband.

Beautiful items within the box.

STEP ONE - separate the hair into sections and clip them out of the way ready for the rollers whilst a little bit damp.

STEP TWO - pull each section out individually and place the roller on the hair to clip in place.

STEP THREE - clip all the rollers in place if you feel they are strong enough.

STEP FOUR - dry the hair on a low heat to try to get the hair to curl nicely.

STEP FIVE - Use the roly poly to add volume in the fringe/front of your hair.

STEP SIX - take out the rollers to see the waves in the hair and backcomb the back of the hair at the top so that the flower headpiece fits around the back nicely.

STEP SEVEN - pull out the roly poly at the front and pull out the waves from underneath the headpiece to see a natural looking hairstyle.

ooo what a good idea! I never ever use rollers on my hair anymore it seems to just behave ( I say this I bet it'll be a nightmare tomorrow morning now!).

I reckon this'd make an awesome gift though!
